Holiday
Inn St. Louis SW Route 66, in Sunset Hills, Missouri, will be our
central meeting point. We will have use of a business conference room
for three days, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, July 6, 7, and 8. Room
will be at ACG discretion from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM each day. There will
be space for a few small table displays, if anyone wants to do that.
The
Holiday Inn will be convenient to several day trip destinations, mostly
within minutes, each only demanding as much time and walking as a
person wants to put into it. Excellent photo ops will abound! There is
a great selection of dining options available within a block or two.
Our meeting room location is where old Route 66 (today it is Route 366,
Watson Road) crosses Lindbergh Boulevard, near city limits of Sunset
Hills and Kirkwood.
We have a hold for a block of 7 guest
rooms, at a very competitive special rate. Rates should be applicable
for prior Wednesday evening through following Wednesday morning. You
can stay a night or two, you can stay a week, whatever works for you.
Hang out for several days, or drop by during Thursday, Friday, or
Saturday. Those are the three days we will have use of the meeting
room, and the main days of the Gathering. Last year some attendees came
a day early, or even left a few days late. We coordinated through our
cell phone list. Or if you live in the St. Louis area and don't need a
guest room, stop by any time during the Gathering, give me a call so we
know you are coming ( my private cell number is 636-751-1319 ).
I
researched the other hotels in the immediate neighborhood, and this
rate represents a very good value, quality and price. Of course you are
free to explore other options available within a couple of miles, and
addresses in cities of Sunset Hills, Kirkwood, Fenton, or Valley Park,
Missouri would be fairly close by.
